WOW: TBC-Classic server bursts at the seams

It has already been foreseeable over the past few months: In WoW: Burning Crusade Classic there is a constant hike, from poorly populated servers to heavily populated servers. In the official WoW Forum, Community Manager Kaivax has now summarized the situation on Firemaw: All servers have an upper limit of players that can be online at the same time. If a server is full, all other players end up in a queue. But that also only includes a maximum number of players. Once this upper limit has been reached, other players are completely denied access.

The fact that something like this happens usually only appears over a short period of time. There is something that Blizzard calls "Queue Pressure", that is, the pressure of the queue. Wow (buy now) is very little fun if you hang in exactly such a queue. Or to put it another way: prefer to play on a less strongly populated server than not at all. Kaivax also explains that the layers cannot be used to solve the problem. The number of layers is always based on how many players are outside the instances in the open world.
