FC Bayern - Rummenigge mourns Renato Sanches: Had him too early

The former board boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge regrets the failed development of Ex-Wunderkind Renato Ranches at FC Bayern Munich. At build Live, Rummenigge admitted that the transfer of Portuguese was premature in 2016.

I think we got him one, two years too early, said Rummenigge.

However, the club had no choice. We had to get him then. At the age of 18, he suddenly had a total gypsy player in Europe. We paid 35 million, which was a lot of money at that time. He played a great European championship, has been chosen to 'Golden Boy', he back.

After the Maximum Successful European Championship 2016 was halfway behind Ranches, Bavaria finally got the surcharge. But he could not fulfill the expectations. It did not fit somehow, says Rummenigge.

On the last day of the transfer window in the summer of 2017, the Bavaria Ranches released on Swansea City, because there was in Paul Clement of the former assistant of Carlo Ancelotti coach. Don Carlo itself was fired a few weeks later from Bayern, after an interim game under Willy Signal, Jump Dances returned. And Rummenigge emphasizes that the coaching ranches would like to have again in the team.

Renato Ranches: Would everything go different with Dances?

When Jump Dances returned as successor to Carlo Ancelotti, he wanted to have this player. Jump said, 'This player I would like to return. I would like to bring this player to the level he belongs.' Unfortunately, because of technical regulations of the FIFA, we were not able to retrieve him back in the season, annoys Rummenigge.

For as Ranches returned to Munich in the summer of 2018 in the summer of 2018 as well with Swansea, Dances had finally retired. Nike Kovacs had taken over the post. Even under the Croats it did not ran for Ranches, which is why the midfielder in the summer of 2019 his tents in Munich finally destroyed and changed to the OSC Lille to France.
